E3

Custom Retro Mod and VIntage Motorcycles. Rebuilt in NYC.

The latest E3 Project:

Chuck’s Honda NT650 “Work in Progress”

The bottom pic is the bike as it rolled into the shop. Top pic is the bike as of last night.

I’m about 85% trough all of the mods and upgrades and into the final assembly stages. Super fun project and things are coming together nicely.

Just got the freshly powder coated bits back and the new wheel set mounted up. UPS Santa showed up with a few boxes of shiny bits ready to go on next week. More pics and updates to come…..

Issue Six of Iron & Air Magazine is now available. No better way to end your year. Immediately available here http://bit.ly/TZZj64.

Anthony’s E3 CB750 made Iron&Air’s best bikes of 2012. Check out issue six for some great content and vintage radness. Also did a nice little E3 “From the Garage” article with tips and some info on shooting your latest bike project. Stoked to be working with the I&A crew. These guys keep raising the bar with each magazine release. Great writing, photography, and content. Congrats ninjas!

The “shop crew” came by last night to assist with the BSA teardown.

TIm and I are grateful to have Al, Vin, and Nikko lending a hand and helping out with the BSA project. They are learning a shit ton about vintage bikes while donating their time to help out with our fund raising efforts. Super cool for everyone involved and lots of fun so far. Can’t wait to see how the bike takes shape as we get into the design and refinishing work…

1968 BSA LIGHTNING: Project Rockaway Day 1
Tim Harney and I rolled the BSA into the shop last night and got started on the bike tear down and rebuild game plan. We shot some cool footage and a time lapse of the break down process that I’ll post in a moment.

Prepping a busted up Thruxton Tank for repaint. This one is going on Max’s Triumph. We’ve got a new custom leather seat/tail section and rad custom paint job in the works over the cold months.

Vin’s E3 HONDA CB360 Tear Down: Day 1

We sorted out all of the running and tuning issues and put a couple hundred miles on the bike before getting into the break down. On to design and refinishing work next. Vin just sourced a beautiful CB350F tank and we’re working on the new seat/tail config.

I bought back my old SV650 and got into some minor front end mods. I just bolted up a new digital gauge unit and mini vintage headlight assembly. Fox Twin Clicker Suspension, Racetech Front End, M4 Exhaust, and a few other nice goodies. Nice under the radar bike for getting to and from the shop and around the city.

My girlfriend Mai recently passed the MSF class and was in need of a nice small first bike. She’s been rad supportive of my 16 hour shop days / never being home this year so I surprised her with this cool little Honda NX250 dual sport I found out of state. Kept it simple and just worked on tuning and replacing all the needed consumables and safety items. I need to swap out the rear tire, install the new chain and sprockets, and then it’s ready for some NJ trail riding. Cool little bike. It actually rips for a 250. Awesome little liquid cooled single.
