Fumi of Sixth Street Specials kicking ass at the AMA National Vintage Flat Track Event this past Sunday.

Collin’s 1971 Honda CL350 Scrambler. Stoked to have him back on the road in record time and bombing around the city on his revamped bike.

*The last photo is the bike as it rolled into the shop two weeks ago.

E3 Motorcycles at the Full Tilt NYC Vintage Motorcycle Show 2012. The 1978 CB750 won a rad little hand fabbed trophy.

The event was super fun this year. The organizers did an incredible job and the turnout was insane. So many nice motorbikes and a really great overall vibe. Perfect way to spend a Sunday.

1971 E3 Honda CL350 Scrambler. This was bike number two that left the shop today. Collin came by after work to pick her up and was out ripping around Greenpoint this evening. Pretty stoked to have gotten two more reliable old Hondas back out on the road in under a month. Proper photos to follow…..
We were going for an old aviation/raw bomber feel and kept the finish pretty minimal. The majority of the budget was spent on suspension, rebuild and tuning items, and all the essentials to get the bike safe and reliable. The overhaul took 9 days from start to finish.
Hagon Rear Suspension, Rebuilt Front End. Modified Stock exhaust, Tapered Steering Bearings, all new cables and rubber components, rebuilt/jetted carbs, K&N Pod Filters, Anti Gravity Battery and custom electronics tray, SR250 Rear Fender, Tracker Bars, new controls and levers, Mini Gauges, E3 Plate Puller, LED Rear light, aluminum signals, new brake components and wheel bearings, and a bunch of stuff I’m forgetting.

I dropped the bike off with Zac over at Saved Tattoo today and he was able to take it out for a run around the city. All systems go! We were aiming for a nice understated and reliable daily rider and the bike seems to fit the bill perfect.

The project took 3 weeks start to finish. Complete tear down, rebuilt front end, rebuilt carb, new rear suspension, custom laser etched and upholstered seat, Lucas tail light, Matt Black/Wrinkle Paint, 50/50 IRC Tires, all new cables, bearings, rubber components, black tracker bars, biltwell grips, new controls and levers, etc…

My friend Julien shot a really cool video of the rebuild process and some riding footage that we’ll have edited and posted soon.
